Freedom Health food card and Everyday Options Allowance

Freedom Health doesn’t have a separate “food card” benefit. Healthy groceries are part of the Everyday Options Allowance on select 2027 C-SNP and D-SNP plans, which Freedom Health lists at $70 to $235 a month. To use it for food or utilities, you must qualify for SSBCI: Freedom Health’s 2027 summaries say you may qualify “if you have a high risk for hospitalization” and need intensive care coordination for a condition such as chronic kidney disease, chronic lung disorders, cardiovascular disorders, chronic heart failure or diabetes. Eligibility is confirmed by phone. For how a similar card works, see the Optimum HealthCare grocery card.

Other 2027 Freedom Health benefits

Freedom Health’s website lists a Part B premium refund of up to $202.90 a month on select 2027 plans, added to your Social Security payment.
