Enrollment in Medicare SNPs
The enrollment period for Medicare SNPs

The Initial Enrollment Period is the 7-month period that starts 3 months before an individual’s 65th birthday month and ends 3 months after their birthday month. During this period, individuals can enroll in a Medicare SNP without penalty.
The Annual Enrollment Period is from October 15 to December 7 each year. During this period, individuals can switch from one Medicare SNP to another or switch to a different type of Medicare plan.
