Zing Health OTC Benefit: Catalog, Smart Card and Balance (2026)

Updated October 6, 2026

Updated October 6, 2026. The Zing Health OTC benefit is an allowance included with many Zing Health Medicare Advantage plans that you can spend on approved over-the-counter health products. For 2026, the allowance is loaded onto your Zing Smart Card on the 1st of each month or quarter, depending on your plan, and you can use it at CVS Pharmacy and other participating stores, online at cvs.com/benefits, or by phone at 1-833-875-1816 (TTY: 711). Unused amounts don’t roll over.

Quick answer: Order from the Zing OTC catalog online at cvs.com/benefits, by phone at 1-833-875-1816 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET, or by swiping your Zing Smart Card at participating stores. Shipping is free and most orders arrive in less than 5 business days, according to Zing’s 2026 OTC and food catalog.

What is the Zing Health OTC benefit?

Zing Health is a private insurer that contracts with Medicare to offer Medicare Advantage HMO, HMO SNP, PPO and PPO SNP plans in select states. Many of its plans include an over-the-counter (OTC) allowance, a set dollar amount you can spend on approved items such as pain relievers, vitamins, first aid supplies and oral care products. The amount and how often it reloads depend on your plan, so check your plan’s Evidence of Coverage or call Member Services.

How to order from the Zing OTC catalog

Online

  1. Go to cvs.com/benefits.
  2. Create an account with your email address and a password. Each member in a household needs a separate email address.
  3. Browse approved items, add them to your cart and check out using your OTC benefit.

By phone

Call CVS OTC Health Solutions at 1-833-875-1816 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET. Have your member ID card and the item numbers from your catalog ready.

In store

Swipe your Zing Smart Card at CVS Pharmacy or another participating retailer. Zing’s catalog says you can shop at more than 7,000 CVS Pharmacy stores (not CVS locations inside Target or Schnucks) and thousands of other stores, including Walmart, Vons, Safeway and Albertsons. You don’t need a PIN.

By mail

Fill out the order form in your printed catalog and mail it to the address listed on the form.

Where can I use my Zing Health OTC card?

Use your card at participating retailers, such as CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Safeway, Vons and Albertsons, as listed in Zing’s 2026 catalog. Store participation can change, so Zing also offers a merchant search and state-by-state OTC and food merchant directories on its benefit card services page. If an item isn’t approved, the card will decline it and you can pay for it another way. Wondering about online marketplaces? See whether Amazon accepts OTC cards.

Healthy food benefit for qualifying members

Some Zing plans also include a healthy food allowance as a Special Supplemental Benefit for the Chronically Ill (SSBCI). Zing’s 2026 catalog says this benefit requires one or two of these conditions: cancer, cardiovascular disorders, chronic heart failure, chronic kidney disease, chronic lung disorders, dementia or diabetes, and that SSBCI eligibility varies by plan. What changes for 2027?

Zing’s member page now links to 2027 mail-order OTC and food catalogs and lists two benefit card apps (WEX and Nations), which suggests the card vendor or app may change for some plans next year. Before January 1, 2027, read the Annual Notice of Change mailed to you in September and your 2027 Evidence of Coverage to confirm your allowance amount, card and ordering website. If you want to compare plans, Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period runs October 15 to December 7, 2026.
